During the second quarter of 2024, the top five delivered meal kits and specialty foods applications on iOS in Egypt showcased varied performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery, published by Factor75, showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from 83 in early April and peaking at 139 in the week of April 22. This was accompanied by a steady climb in weekly active users, reaching 514 by the end of June.

Mahshihub experienced fluctuating download numbers, with a notable spike to 169 in the week of June 10. However, the app did not generate any revenue during this period, and no data was available for weekly active users.

HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery, from HelloFresh, saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 81 in early April and dropping to 34 by the end of June. Despite this, the app maintained a relatively stable user base, peaking at 991 active users in mid-June.

EveryPlate: Cooking Simplified, also from HelloFresh, had modest download numbers, with a peak of 41 in the week of May 27. Active users remained fairly stable, fluctuating slightly around the 200 mark throughout the quarter.

Green Chef: Healthy Recipes demonstrated limited download activity, with a maximum of 27 in the week of May 6. The app maintained a small but consistent user base, ending the quarter with 77 active users.
